The government and the opposition of the world's poorest countries are increasingly disparate to the structures issuing so-called micro loans to the poor. Do not return funds received from the organizations micro-credit, urged political forces in Nicaragua,Pakistan and Bolivia. This area is in crisis: the profitability of banking business weakly correlated with the triumph of the poor borrowers.

The problems in this sector writes "New York Times". At the time, micro-credit, it seemed, could help the next humanistic endeavor of the UN. At the beginning of the millennium one of the main goals has been called halving the number of people living in extreme poverty. Micro-credit for the opening of his little cottage business has become one of the ways to give the poor the bait, instead of having to feed their fish with the master's table in Western countries.

The United Nations confirmed 2005 International Year of Microfinance, to date this area has become a focused business. It was expected that with time however, and the big banks, Citigroup, ING, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Society General, will actively offer similar harvest.

By the closing stages of 2009 micro-credit sector has combined more than 91 million customers with loans totaling more than $ 70 billion, but it seems that the banking big business and will not be able to let alone the dishonor in the eyes of the public and profitable for the beneficiaries of their downfall.
